RapidEMC – Terms of Use

(Beta Version) - Last updated: October 2025

1. Introduction

Welcome to RapidEMC, an online platform dedicated to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) simulation and tool sharing. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RapidEMC website and services (collectively referred to as "the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use RapidEMC.

RapidEMC is currently in beta phase. This means that some features may still be under development, and the Service may experience interruptions or unexpected behavior.

2. Service Description

RapidEMC provides users with tools and functionalities for:

  • Running EMC simulations, such as radiated field estimation and crosstalk analysis.
  • Executing Python scripts in the cloud for electromagnetic and signal integrity applications.
  • Using AI-assisted analysis to automatically detect input parameters and generate user interfaces.
  • Sharing community tools and collaborating with other users.

The Service is currently offered free of charge during the beta period.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. RapidEMC reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms or are suspected of misuse.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use RapidEMC only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. In particular, you agree not to:

  • Upload or execute malicious or unsafe code (e.g., viruses, trojans, or harmful scripts).
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or damage the infrastructure of the platform.
  • Use the Service to copy, distribute, or exploit third-party intellectual property without permission.
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the platform.

RapidEMC may monitor activity to ensure compliance and maintain platform security.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and software on the RapidEMC platform are the property of RapidEMC or its contributors. Users retain ownership of the Python scripts or tools they upload but grant RapidEMC a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and process these files for the purpose of operating the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you upload does not infringe the rights of others.

6. Liability Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. RapidEMC does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or availability of results generated by the simulations or AI analysis. The platform may be suspended, modified, or discontinued at any time without notice. RapidEMC and its creator shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

RapidEMC collects and processes only the data necessary to operate the Service, such as user email addresses and uploaded files. These data are used exclusively for authentication, communication, and the proper functioning of simulations and related features.

User information is securely stored and protected using industry-standard encryption and data protection practices. All personal data is hosted on secure servers located within the European Union.

RapidEMC does not sell, rent, or share any personal data with third parties, except when required by law.

As the Service is still in beta, a more detailed Privacy Policy compliant with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will be published at a later stage.

Users may request the deletion of their account or personal data by contacting support@rapidemc.com.

8. Service Modifications and Termination

As the Service is in beta, features may change or be removed without prior notice. RapidEMC reserves the right to temporarily or permanently suspend access for maintenance, updates, or other operational reasons.
